Safety Policy Statement

Kaizen Environmental Services Inc. is committed to protecting its employees, property and the public from incidents or accidents resulting from any of its operations. Kaizen Environmental Services Inc. shall meet these obligations by taking the appropriate measures to protect and promote the health and safety of its employees and to ensure operations do not adversely affect on-site workers, the environment and/or the general public.

Policy

• The Company is responsible for communicating safety hazards to its employees and will ensure that employees have appropriate safety training, personal protective equipment and clothing, and safety equipment required for the work to be undertaken.
  
  
• All Employees & Sub-Contractors will comply with Kaizen's Safety Policies & Procedures. Employees and Sub-Contractors will be required to acknowledge receipt of Kaizen's program.
  

Guiding Principles

• Safety policies, procedures and programs developed by the Company shall meet or exceed legislative requirements.
  
  
• Corporate Management will ensure compliance by establishing appropriate programs and by conducting internal audits of its operations.
  
  
• Compliance with safety policies and procedures and participation in the Safety Program is the responsibility of every employee and contractor, and is a condition of employment.
  
  
• All incidents, injuries and accidents will be reported to Kaizen Environmental Services Inc. All injuries resulting in Medical Aid, Modified Employment and a Lost Time Accident will be reported to the appropriate Workers' Compensation Board and where appropriate, investigated.
