Kaizen Environmental Services Inc. (KESI) is a privately owned company operating in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.  Established in 1993, KESI provides a variety of environmental services to oilfield and industrial commercial clients in Western Canada.  Kaizen International Inc., a sister company incorporated in 1995, provides environmental services to similar clientele operating in the Caribbean and South America.

 KESI operates two divisions in Canada:  a Projects Division and a Laboratory Division.  The Projects Division maintains a Permit to Practice from APEGGA as well as other professional organizations.  The lab is a fully accredited through CAEAL and the Standards Council of Canada and is one of the primary water analysis labs in Western Canada.

A. Field Services

Specific services provided by Kaizen Environmental include pre/post site assessment for wells and facilities, spill response, soil and groundwater remediation program development, implementation and closure, and reclamation activities. Kaizen also conducts extensive groundwater monitoring programs, commercial property, transfer assessments and remediation and reclamation works for industrial clients throughout Western Canada.

Kaizen has established good working relationships with various levels of government in order to facilitate our clients’ requirements for approvals, licenses, dispute resolution and information.  One of the keys to our success is to maintain communication with municipal, county, provincial and federal governments, as well as landowners, thereby allowing open and straightforward discussions on environmental issues.

Kaizen’s Safety Program is managed by our Safety Coordinator. The safety program has been certified by Alberta Labour since 1998. Kaizen has been recognized as one of Alberta’s “Best Safety Performer’s” since that program was inaugurated. Kaizen’s Quality Control/Quality Assurance Program has been audited by the Canadian Standards Association and approved.
